South West Bible College
South West Bible College operates as an extension centre for Alphacrucis College (formerly Southern Cross College), Sydney, offering one course – a Certificate IV in Ministry. This certificate will satisfy the academic requirements for receiving an AOG minister’s credential.

Course Structure
This certificate requires the completion of 8 modules or subjects (6 course subjects, 2 practical field placement modules). For 2011 we will offer up to four subjects. Each subject runs for one semester (or 15 weeks). There are 2 semesters per year. The course may be commenced at the beginning of any semester. Students may choose to study as either a credit or audit student.
When Does it Run?
- Monday evening – one class: 7:30pm – 9:00pm
- Tuesday – two classes: 10:00am – 11:30am, and 7:30pm – 9:00pm
For semester one 2011, two subjects will be offered:
- Christian Leadership: Introduces contemporary Christian approaches to leadership in the 21st century church.
- Introduction to the New Testament: This subject provides an overview of the history, themes, theology and cultural background of the New Testament. It also provides the student with some keys as to how to interpret and apply the New Testament to their own life.
