Prophecy by Ps. David McCracken
This prophecy from David McCracken was given to our church on 17 Oct 1993. Since
that time we have seen many parts of it come to pass, and believe that it is an
accurate picture of what God wants to do in and through our church.
"For this is a time for bold new initiative and this is a time, not for timidity
nor conservatism, but this is a time for great boldness before thy God. It is,
says the Lord, that I have already laid upon your heart to do a great thing for
me, to reach out and take, possess that which seems illogical and beyond reach.
It shall be that in your stepping forward in faith and in obedience to do that
which I have placed within your heart to do, I shall cause many to be grafted
into your side that shall stand with strength, with firmness in the times of
wind and change. I shall cause them to be as armour bearers unto you, and these
armour bearers shall not flinch in the times of battle and they shall stand firm
and the land shall be possessed.
I shall raise up, says God, a place in which they shall dwell and draw all
peoples and I will cause darkness in this place to be broken, and it shall be
that I shall cause a place of refuge to be established, a haven, a place where I
may bring the broken hearted and destitute and those that cry out even in the
fear and desperation of their hearts, those who say 'does anybody care for us?'
I shall cause a beacon of light to be established in the community that all who
see it shall know that my heart is there and that I shall cause a place of
healing and restoration of life to be found there, and it shall be that out of
that shall come forth my mighty ones in spirit, and they shall come upon the
streets and they shall walk down streets and they shall walk even into the homes
of those that sit in despair and desolation, and it shall be as ambassadors of
hope that they shall go and they shall return.
I shall cause a hub to be established out of which shall go forth shafts of
light, not only into this community, but into the communities of the nation,
beyond the foreshore, and they shall cause a new chapter to be established.
Limit me not, says the Lord, that I should even continue at the rate that I have
been up until this time. For there shall come an explosion, a great ingathering,
but first I shall test you and cause you to take steps of faith. Limit me not by
the economics of the nation. Limit me not by the logic's of human reasoning.
Limit me not by the fear and apprehension of other men's hearts, but know that I
shall cause you to be bold and to take and to possess and do what I have laid
upon your heart to do, and I will bless it, says God. For it is born of me that
I might have a lighthouse in the midst of darkness."
